WOODHAVEN STUD & WOODHAVEN RACING SYNDICATES
Woodhaven Stud is set in the Berkshire Downs, just outside Newbury, and comprises more than 70 acres of stables, pastureland and woodland. An ideal place to rear thoroughbred horses. The peaceful atmosphere of Woodhaven is steeped in the history of British racing. Most notably the great Brigadier Gerard was born and bred here. Since then the team at Woodhaven has constantly for 20 years turning out winners on the racetrack. Woodhaven Racing Syndicate was formed over 15 years ago to involve new people into the racing game. The idea of such an enterprise came from Juliet Reed (shown on left with Brendan Powell after her horse Rhyme'N Reason wins the Grand National ) and Carl Leafe (Shown on right with Graham Bradley after winning the Hennessey Gold Cup) deciding we would introduce as many new people to racing as possible. Most of our members have been with us for numerous years and many have gone on to buy their own horses to breed and race. Ring Carl +44 1635 254475 for syndicate details.
